Assembly Tips & Guides
Assembly Tips
Our equipment is shipped mostly disassembled and will require assembly upon delivery. Peak Strength Equipment works diligently to provide clear assembly manuals, diagrams, or photo guides to assist during the installation process. Many times the electronic PDF copies of the assembly guides are easier to see because you can zoom in to see details better. During assembly, we recommend you keep all nuts and bolts only finger tight until the end. This will allow for easier fitment and bolt hole alignment during the assembly process. At the end of the assembly, we then recommend applying Loctite to all nuts and bolts to prevent them from coming loose in the future. Double check that all nuts and bolts are tight at the very end of the assembly process before using the equipment.
Tools That May Be Required
Assembly typically requires common hand tools, including but not limited to:
-
Metric Allen keys and sockets
-
Metric wrenches and adjustable wrenches
-
Phillips head & flat head screwdrivers
-
Hammer or rubber mallet (rubber mallet is preferred to prevent damage)
-
Lubricant (silicone spray)
Professional Assembly Recommendation
If you are not comfortable assembling equipment or do not have the necessary tools available, we strongly recommend hiring a qualified installation professional. To keep product pricing competitive, Peak Strength Equipment does not currently offer in-house assembly services throughout the USA. We do however offer local assembly services for an extra fee from a local 3rd party contractor in the Chicagoland area.
For professional installation, you may consider the following service providers:
-
Outside of Chicagoland Area: Fitness Machine Technicians
